The direct predecessor of the beer factory Budweiser Budvár, in the period in which it was a national institution was Czech Share Brewery. This factory was founded in the year 1895, and its activity is in close connection to the manufacture of beer according to the historical tradition in České Budějovice. This tradition dates from the 13th century, when the city was founded for the rights of manufacture of beer. The exceptional quality of the beer Budweiser Budvár is due to the ingredients used: hops from Zatec of the highest quality, the malt carefully selected of Moravia, and in particular the own yeast culture of the company and the pure water from 300 m depth.
A very important aspect is the process of fermentation of beer; the minimum period for the lager Budweiser Budvár is of 90 days and 200 days for Bud Super Strong. Created in only one place in the world, respectively in the beer factories in České Budějovice, the Czech Republic, the beer Budweiser Budvar has the same exceptional quality, wherever it is enjoyed.
